Curly Fro-hawk

Hi all!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!!!
I experimented with my hair this weekend and finally tried my hand at a mohawk on a 5-day old straw set.
All I used were bobby pins and a mirror! lol. Then I dressed it up with a flower.
I like how it turned out, but it's definitely something I would wear out and not on an average school day.

That's all for now!
A BIG THANK YOU to my readers! =)
Thanks for keeping up with me on my journey.

  1. ILOOOOVE your blog! I'm a white girl but there's nothing white about my hair at all. Even black people ask if I'm part black. My hair is super dry, super tight curly, and nothing published about white hair would do me an ounce of good. Your hair is always lookin spicy! Thanks for sharing!

  4. I am SOOoo HAPPY I found your blog! I have recently decided to go natural after seeing how my friend's hair turned out. She wore weaves throughout her process and I've been searching everywhere for a style I could feel comfortable transitioning with but I havn't seen any good examples (UNTIL NOW). I'm going to get my hair done tomorrow and I hope a straw set looks good on me because I love love love it on you! Thanks so much :)

    1. Hi! I can try my best and tell you what has worked for me! For washing I use shampoo and conditioner from either Organix or Herbal Essences (the Hello Hydration line.)For styling I use Cantu Shea Butter and some type of gel: either by Eco Styler or IC Fantasia. Hope that helps! You can also look through my blog for more. =) Good luck with your transition.
